Microscope Fun

Today at school we had a scientist  come to our class and teach as about microscopes. We looked at a lot of stuff like a bee leg and slug blood. The microscope is a device used to make very tiny (microscopic) objects visible to the human eye through magnification. It was very cool to use a microscope today.

Cell, in biology, the basic membrane-bound unit that contains the fundamental molecules of life and of which all living things are composed. A single cell is often a complete organism in itself, such as a bacterium or yeast. 

Tree of LIfe

This term, we are learning about the Tree of Life. So far, I know that the Tree of Life is like the Tree of Family. It shows you who is the oldest Animal/Bug and the recent of them all. It shows you all the Plants, Tree, Bugs, Animals, even a Human Homo!. There’s a side for Plants, a side for Animals, Bugs, and even Birds. We got pictures of Animals, Plants and more, We had to fill up the gaps in the picture.
