Microscope Fun

Today at school we had a scientist  come to our class and teach as about microscopes. We looked at a lot of stuff like a bee leg and slug blood. The microscope is a device used to make very tiny (microscopic) objects visible to the human eye through magnification. It was very cool to use a microscope today.

WHAT I LEARN ARE ABOUT OCTOPUS:The octopus performs its famous backward swim by blasting water through a muscular tube on the body called a siphon. Octopuses also crawl along the ocean's floor, tucking their arms into small openings to search for food. Seals, whales, and large fish prey on octopuses.

Tree of LIfe

This term, we are learning about the Tree of Life. So far, I know that the Tree of Life is like the Tree of Family. It shows you who is the oldest Animal/Bug and the recent of them all. It shows you all the Plants, Tree, Bugs, Animals, even a Human Homo!. There’s a side for Plants, a side for Animals, Bugs, and even Birds. We got pictures of Animals, Plants and more, We had to fill up the gaps in the picture.

Today I read a book about  life in hot places. The book said a cactus has water. Some people live in the desert, they live in tents and they get water that is under the ground. M favourite is Desert people.
